Margie Foley

Margie loves helping people to move better, feel better, and literally change their bodies. As the Director of Centerpoint Pilates she has been teaching movement for over 20 years. She is a Fletcher Pilates® faculty member and certified Professional Pilates Teacher. Margie is also certified through the Pilates Method Alliance, a graduate of the PhysicalMind Method, and proud to have been a participant of Passing the Torch with Ron Fletcher.

Margie’s dance background includes attending the North Carolina School of the Arts, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and studying at Jacob’s Pillow, the American Dance Festival and the Martha Graham School of Dance. In addition to being a talented Pilates teacher, she is a certified Yamuna Body Rolling practitioner and Reiki master.

Kristin has worked with all kinds of clients from all ages and skill levels and being a former dancer influences her teaching technique and the sharp attention to detail in her Pilates practice. She began her pilates training in 2009 and became certified one year later in the classical method. Although classical pilates is her first technique she introduces to new clients, she has also versed in contemporary Pilates methods as well. Being well versed in both techniques and always having variations or modifications to movement exercises is key to finding what can benefit each individual best.

After teaching for almost 8 years in various studios around the San Francisco Bay Area, Kristin has joined Centerpoint Pilates and continues to teach stretch, strength, and control to the clients in the Philadelphia community.
